Disadvantaged groups

in a country with great poverty there can be harsh living conditions and there are unfortunately many weak ones
that strive extra to survive. Developmental and functional disabilities, chronic illness, becoming a single parent, losing or being abandoned by their dependents; this can quickly lead to a life of great suffering

Context

There are many groups that are struggling because of poverty. Due to the harsh realities, there is no support for them, except the one they get from family, if they have one. Many can also feel like a burden to their own family.
Single mothers who struggle to make everyday life livable, Sick people who do not receive treatment due to money. People who are discriminated against and rejected because of their sexual orientation.
Developmentally and disabled people who do not receive any form of accommodation.
One of the most vulnerable groups is children without parents.

External influences such as floods and typhoons that drown crops, extreme droughts, or large forest and city fires can completely ruin families. There is no insurance or state that takes action and they have an uncertain future ahead.
There is also a risk of contracting the disease. As many lack access to clean drinking water, proper sanitation and mosquito nets.

Since the country's political crisis in 2009, when the previous government was overthrown by a coup, state support has fallen sharply. An example is how the state stopped the treatment of leprosy among the population. These are now lying around on the streets and suffering from pain. Other negative impacts are halved education and health budgets.
